Payment options
- All prices for products and shipping are in US dollars.
- We accept Visa and Master Card.
- Your credit card will be billed for the amount of your purchase, including appropriate tax and shipping charges.

Return/Refund Policy
- Our policy and promise to you is that we want you to be 100% satisfied. However, BERNINA Sewing Center can only accept returns or refunds if the store is at fault or the product is defective. (Example: you are charged an incorrect price) While this is rare, we are not perfect! If you find a mistake with your order, please contact us immediately. We will remedy the problem to the best of our ability and within reason. In the case of a lost or damaged shipment, please contact the store via phone.
- We cannot take returns on cut fabric, patterns or books, unless they are defective. Notions may be returned only if packaging has not been opened or used.
- If an item was sent in error or fabric was cut incorrectly, please contact us via email to shop@berninastmarys.com stating the error immediately or call us directly at 419-394-1111.
- All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. Returned items MUST be in saleable condition and accompanied by the original packing slips.
- All sales from our clearance categories and end of bolts are final with no returns accepted.
- If the fabric has received any manufacturer’s defects, such as tears or loss of color, contact us and we will give instructions on how to return it for replacement or credit.
- No unauthorized returns will be accepted. They will be automatically returned. Please contact us before returning any items. We will give you information and instructions for returning the items.
Delivery and Shipping Policy
- How Are Shipping Charges Calculated?
- At BERNINA Sewing Center, we try to keep shipping costs down to the minimum. Our shipping charges are for actual shipping charges, with a minimum shipping charge of $5.00 and $1.00 added for each pound in your total order.
- Orders may be made within the U.S.A. only.
- International Shipping & Handling: We are not currently able to ship outside the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please make sure your shipping location is within the United States.
- In stock merchandise will be shipped within 3 business days. Preorders will be shipped as soon as the merchandise arrives in the store.
- You will be notified if items are out of stock, and your order will be processed according to your instructions.
- Every effort is made to ensure items are listed in their correct quantities. Read item descriptions for notes on yardages or quantities remaining. We do our best to keep these up-to-date, and should your requested quantity not be available, we will contact you.
General Merchant Information
- Fabrics must be ordered in minimum cuts of ½ yard.
- Price list: all items should have prices listed, with currency (USD) as well as shipping cost if a durable product.
Your Privacy
- BERNINA Sewing Center is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.
- When you place an order, we may ask for the following information: name, contact information, shipping and billing addresses, credit card number and information, shipping preferences.
- All information we collect from you is kept confidential and is not shared with outside parties under any circumstance. This information is used strictly for processing your orders.

- We use secure processes through Authorize.net and employ https:// functionality.
- We have performed the required procedures to validate compliance with the PCI DSS.
